Sunset at Desert Mountain, Commission, Oil, 54" x 67"
"Lauren and I had a great time taking pictures from every spot on my patio to get just the right view. We waited for the right time of day and then she climbed over the pool, over cactus and perched on the wall, taking pictures to get just the view we wanted!! Then we measured the niche with ladder, paper, tape and pencils!! It had to fit just perfectly! We combed through her slides of sunsets together as I picked out the ones I liked best and chose the colors to emphasize. The result is just what I wanted ... the beautiful sky and mountains from my patio in the early evening with the saguaro in the foreground. With the overhead lighting on a dimmer switch, I am able to change the light on the picture from morning to evening. It is a show stopper!!"

Moonlight Cereus II, Pastel, 32" x 28", Unframed
"As I visited the Arizona Fine Art Expo I would wander by Lauren's booth and watch her paint this beautiful cactus. Each time I visited, the flower began to blossom and come alive. When she was close to finishing, I knew I had to try it in my dining room. The frame she chose was perfect and when I took it home, it was like she had painted it just for my spot. It adds a touch of elegance and beauty that the room needed!"

Amber Glow, Oil, 48" x 31", Unframed
"For the three years it took to build our home in North Scottsdale, I had dreamed of the perfect picture to hang in the heart of our home. The moment I saw Lauren's work, I knew the perfect painting would be one of her magnificent skyscapes. What could convey the grandeur of the Southwest better than one of our sunsets - they are so much a part of our life. I don't think I have ever bought anything that has given me so much pleasure every day. The bonus is Lauren herself, who is a joy to know personally and professionally."

Radiant Rose II, Commission, 41" x 33"
"Dave and I chose "Radiant Rose II" to have the most important place of prominence in our new home. We enjoy looking at our beautiful "Rose" every day. We are both originally from the City of Roses, Portland, Oregon. We would often visit the Rose Test Gardens during our courtship. So as you can imagine, we have many fond memories. We are not able to grow roses where we live now, but we can still enjoy our "Radiant Rose". The colors and light displayed in our painting delight us every day."

"Lauren's sunset was the perfect color match for the colors in our master suite. The relaxing look to the scene and the colors used set the tone for a great night's sleep."

"New to the community and whle having lunch in Carefree, Arizona, we came upon the Carefree Fine Art and Wine Festival. As we were wandering through the show, we came across so many different artists and were amazed by the quality of their work. One particular artist stood out to us as we found Lauren's booth and saw her wonderful skyscapes. After spending time with her, we commissioned Lauren to complete a skyscape and worked hand in hand with her to ensure that our skyscape would capture the terrain and mountains around our home as well as the amazing skies of Arizona. We spent time with Lauren at the 2011 Arizona Fine Art EXPO as she worked on our painting. Finally the day arrived when the work was finished and was delivered to our home where it now hangs in our Great Room. Thank you, Lauren, and maybe we shall need another piece of your fine art in our home in Canada."

Amber Rain, Pastel, 28" x 21"
"We picked the painting especially for the area where it is hung (although we liked it so much that we would have tried to find a place for it, regardless). With a 20' ceiling, the cloud formation soars up toward the ceiling and helps to connect the room. We also lived in the desert southwest for several years and the painting reminds us of the many thunderhead clouds that we saw during that time with the mountains and arid landscape below. It helps to tie our current lives to our past."

Swirl and Swish II, Diptych, Giclee Prints on Canvas, 30" x 40" / 30" x 40"
"We finally moved into our dream home, and it was time to think about decorating the walls. While at the Cottonwood Art Festival in Richardson, Texas this year, I came across Lauren's booth and instantly fell in love with this diptych. As you can see from the photo, we have a very large wall above the television with high ceilings, and needed something spectacular. The "Swirl and Swish II" giclee fit the bill perfectly. The instant I saw it I knew I had to have it. We took home the postcard of the artwork so I could have the picture as a reminder of my 'goal' to save for this piece. My mother was visiting and asked about the postcard. Well, long story short she purchased it for us as a housewarming / 30th anniversary gift! It arrived in no time, and we love it! We tell everyone who comes by about Lauren and her work."

The Three Amigos, Commission, Oil, Diptych, 46" x 48" / 46" x 60"
"What I liked about the commission experience was how open, friendly and flexible Lauren was with working with us to understand what we wanted with the sunsets and/or horizons. After we settled on themes and colors then we went walking around the desert to look at all our favorite places. That's where I introduced Lauren to the Three Amigos and then Lauren noticed much more around them! I also was impressed by all her questioning about the other elements that she included that are special to us. I smile and think of those whenever I look at our painting! Thank you for a wonderful, rich experience!"
